The Blue Minwah
The first of our “modern” Mini’s and was in a bit of a rough state when we got her. Obviously unloved for quite some time but we took a small risk and so glad we did.
Mehanically wasn’t too bad, but when we took the front end into service mode to replace the radiator and fan unit, we found the slam panel had been strung together with cable ties and was in quite a bad state – so we replaced that too.
A part of having a used mini is the joy of righting all the wrongs and then making it unique in small ways (Rule #4)
Latvia 2025
It wasn’t even our intention to take The Blue Minwah as our transport to Latvia – after all it’s such a long trip for an old lady – but we had got her into such a tip top condition that we decided to take the risk. In the end it was the best decision to make because she didn’t have one issue on the 3,000mile plus round trip from Yorkshire – didn’t miss a beat!
